I am so disappointed I won't be able to go tonight. 
I am glad the band didn't have to cancel the event for such an important cause.
Awesome that Springsteen will be stepping in to play with the band. While I am not a Chris Martin/Coldplay fan, I did see him perform at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony this year. (Can't remember who he inducted) I thought he was pretty good-and he had a great sense of humor.
Regardless, it will be a great evening in NYC!

Chris Martin is far better singer, he has something special and unique. I don´t like Flowers´ monotonnous long vibrating tones.

I'm happy and sad at the same time about this. Must be hell for Bono to watch it. But still GOOD that it goes ahead for such an important event. I'm sure Bono insisted on them performing despite of his injuries. It will be curious to see now if they'll perform at the Acoustic Christmas minus 1 as well.
