I agree with U2 girls analogy but i can't help thinking about the heaven idea as well i think that's a beautiful and luminous idea. I guess i can't help thinking that what you can't leave behind can be both carried and transcended if that makes any sense.
It's like different layers of the same metaphorical onion, on one level we are aware of what makes us, us what causes us pain and joy but on an even deeper level there is the "peace that passeth understanding" "non attachment" in the positive, not nihlistic sense of the word or inner peace if you like.
I am of no set religion but i meditate and have certain beliefs and intuitions. I am very much a beginner on all this and always will be, i am not always good at conveying my ideas, hope this makes some sort of sense to somebody - love and chupachups - jules
