Why are people paying big buck for U22 on Ebay and Amazon?

Forgive me if there is a thread on this, but I couldn't find anything.

Why are people paying big bucks for U22 when they could just join U2.com and get it as their new member gift?

Am I misunderstanding something?

Maybe some people don't know that it's still available as a subscriber gift and think it's rare, or they just have a lot of money to throw around. But you're right, it really doesn't make sense.
