I wonder if they have a playlist for the entire day. It's be cool to see what they actually ended up playing. I heard them talk to the guy in S.America in the morning (my morning)who remixed Crazy Tonight.

Yeah I heard that interview, with DJ Redanka. He sounded like a lovely bloke.

That was really an amazing day; I heard so many songs that I had either never heard, hadn't heard in forever, or else barely remembered. These guys really knew what they were talking about.

I'm also so happy they played my request for She's A Mystery To Me, though I'm bummed they didn't get to LWTSH.

Thanks everyone for all the phone calls, emails and tweets. I'm just about recovered after working 20 hours last Thursday!

It appears that all the online chatter moved from the various forums to Facebook & Twitter for this year's marathon, which was a challenge to keep up with while juggling everything else going on at the station. We tried to keep up with all the requests, and hope that you enjoyed this year's playlist. If you want details on any of these tracks, I recommend the wonderful discography at U2wanderer.org

With over 1000 tracks to choose from, it's impossible to cover everything (that would take a 5-day marathon!) Todd noted that we were able to add a whole hour's worth (by my rough count) of tracks we'd never played on a previous U2 Marathon, much less on radio in general. That's the whole idea too, to provide a unique radio experience, and I hope we did well by the audience.
