Why does Bono insist on doing songs with rubbish acts like Mary J Blige and Green Day lately?!
Next they'll be doing a song with Robbie Williams!

I liked One with MJB.

I like Green Day for the most part except for certain songs from their juvenile sounding past work.

I like Robbie Williams, whatever little I've heard of him, namely Angels, Old Before I Die, Millenium etc.

Wow, like this topic hasn't been beaten to death already...

Come on, Robbie Williams rules. "I don't wanna rock....Dee-Jay!" And I mean that with utmost sincerity. Rock DJ was my Spring Break anthem. Really big song in the Cancun clubs, apparently.

They should record with Radiohead...that would sure get everyone talking.

But personally I wouldn't dig it. Thom and Bono's approach to vocals is too similar.

I'd like to see a U2/Depeche Mode collaboration, being they're my two favorite bands. Bono would take the higher register, and Dave Gahan will fill out the bottom. Vocal heaven right there.
