Good news is that Maddy's team won their first game yesterday.
Bad news, on the opposing court, a girl was taken to the hospital by paramedics when her knee and kneecap or bone that connects them became misplaced. I didn't see across the courts and didn't look when I went over to find out what happened (squeamish). I heard from others. And you could hear her wincing in pain for a while
