Hopefully Desire is still full band electric. That was previously reported, right? I love the ZooTV Mirrorball Man version of that song so much, I'd love something like that again.

I wonder how much of their hand U2 will show with the encores tonight.

Some of you will remember their rehearsals in Brussels before the 2005 European shows, where they ended the set with Yahweh to not give away that 40 had been dropped for Vertigo x2.

01 - The Miracle (of Joey Ramone)
02 - Out of Control
03 - Vertigo
04 - I Will Follow
05 - Iris (Hold Me Close)
06 - Cedarwood Road
07 - Song for Someone
08 - Sunday Bloody Sunday
09 - Raised by Wolves
10 - Until the End of the World
--- BREAK ---
11 - Invisible
12 - Even Better Than the Real Thing
13 - Desire
14 - Mysterious Ways
15 - Sweetest Thing
16 - Every Breaking Wave
17 - Bullet the Blue Sky

OK, Pride after Bullet, that's weird.

They've already rehearsed One Step Closer, The Hands That Built America, Running to Stand Still, and The Troubles after Bullet. Which will they use on the tour?

I guess that's what they mean by varying second half.

I suppose they're trying something a little different here than the usual Bullet-> "mellow" (for want of a better word), so there's that. I'd rather see Pride rotate with MW or WOWY myself, but it's at least something different.

Interesting!

Assuming they follow the rest of the recent rehearsals, who's to say they *won't* just end with the BD / Streets / ISHF encore? The only real problem that raises is presumably the odd absence of One and it would mean a 23-song set, totally standard.

You can shove your Oxford comma UYMFA

Funny how you made this post right when somebody came into my office to debate the Oxford comma with me!

I maintain that people who don't use the Oxford comma are Philistines who hate clarity in writing.

I use it. It's just the way I was taught to write in school. I'm used to it. To not use it feels weird to me.

To prove how cool my workplace is, we also debated the merits of single quotation marks versus doubles.

(I'm on the side of double quotation marks, to avoid potential confusion with possessive apostrophes.)

I was listening to Please->Streets earlier today, which is a great segue (tied with and/or second to RTSS->Streets). I'm really looking forward to how they handle it for this tour. Though, it seems like they've tried a couple different segues, yea? It's hard to keep up with all of this junk.

I really like the set but I can't help but feel like there's an entire encore missing, not playing One is really odd to me. And given that there's no opener and a intermission I figured we'd be getting a longer set than the last tour, not a shorter one
