I like the beat. I think the film clip is very clever. But how that is one of the biggest and well-renowned dance songs ever, is beyond me, for the reasons you just mentioned.

It actually still gets fairly regular radio play on any and all stations that dabble in electro-dance, and every time I hear it, I wonder why it's not Digital Love or Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.

Homework is a very strong album though, it just wears a bit thin as it goes along. 73 minutes with like five lines of lyrics will do that to an album.

I still hear One More Time all the time. Particularly because the night club I most often frequent has taken to playing an awful remix that just repeats the word "one" for about 20 seconds.

that sounds beyond horrible

It's worse than it sounds too. Then you've got the opening 10 or so seconds of The Next Episode being dropped in every second track, usually mashed with that Simon Says song. Add Twist and Shout when the lights come on at 4am and you've got pretty much every night I go out.

New Tori has leaked! I'm not sure what to expect, the two songs I have heard have been very impressive.

I would stop going there. it can't be worth it.

For Shouter:

Sorry to hear about this. The shock must be horrible, and I feel for you. When I first met my girlfriend, her almost ten-year relationship was crumbling rapidly. She was in a terrible state for a while, but she emerged from the situation as a better-rounded, more confident, and wiser person. And now she can look back on that relationship with some positivity without pining for it or feeling nostalgic. Her social circle has widened and she is more independent now. I guess what I am saying is that sometimes the disintegration of a relationship can be an opportunity for growth; it can give one perspective on what one needs and wants and make the next significant other a stronger match.

Fuck, Shouter. That seriously blows. I'm sorry, man. Hopefully she'll come around.

And HEY! I JUST NOTICED THE TAGS! Bullies

I hear this kid once picked Bulbasaur as a starting Pokemon.....

I wanted there to be at least one thread with a friggin' cobbler tag

So now you've taken to stalking my posts, huh?

I had only ever had Pokemon Yellow as a kid. I found a Blue cartrige on the ground one day and figured, "Squirtle yet won't have any water moves to help me beat Brock, and Bulbasaur will be invaluable against Misty..."

Just got news that I got accepted into a journalism work experience thing - at a rural newspaper, comes with a $3,000 grant. I'm so happy :D not the real thing, but hey, it's something :D

So now I'm blasting some killer upbeat tunes, kicking off with Ibi Dreams of Pavement.
