Okay I just heard the weirdest commercial. It sounded like some election commerical and at the end it said "Brought to you by your teddy bear." WTF? :eyebrow:

 was it one of those 'If you're not voting, who are you electing?' Ads? there are some weird ones of those - one I know closes with 'this ad brought to you by the supporters for the campaign of frozen peas' :eyebrow:

Sorry I haven't been posting much tonight in here.

Just wanted to say goodnight to you all. I'm pretty tired, so I think I'm gonna hit the sack. I hope you all have a great rest of your night!

You should see some of the pieces of political genius we have here. One of them has a guy running for Senator carrying around a life-size cardboard cutout of the lady he's running agains to different things and people are shaking her hand, trying to feed her, they have her trying to make a speech:shrug: Supposedly it represents that she hasn't done much for Michigan.:eyebrow: It ends w/"Debbie Stabenow, there's just not a whole lot there." Yeah, I'm really feeling confident about throwing my vote into the sheer brilliance that is the U.S. government at this time...:lmao:

:( I just saw my best friends (who passed away) nephew on our local news. He was here in town performing in a fiddle contest. It makes me sad that she isn't here to see it. She would be so proud. He looked really good. He has won the competition 4 years in a row, so I hope he does it again this year. He is an amazing musician.

 That's so sad Russty. It must be so hard on a young kid to lose a parent. I"m glad he hasn't given up though and is still doing amazing things w/his life. That's the best attitude to have:yes:

I think it was one of those SG. I hadn't seen those before. Too funny!

I'm not to confident in our goverment lately either.

It was very hard. The last time I saw him was at the funeral. But I knew he would be okay. He is a strong kid.

I just saw on the news (which I need to stop watching!) soliders getting reunited with their loved ones in San Diego where B was stationed. There was a crowd waiting and as a few soliders stepped off the plane this woman broke from the crowd and ran and tackled one of them. It made me tear up.

I wish I could say that :grumpy: Alas, it's just insomnia

So I thought I'd pop on here to see what trouble you ladies are causing tonight :shh:

Britt - I think I seem to recall chatting with you once.. long ago..  How are ya?

VP - :( What's wrong? Aches? Pain? Stress?

I'm glad he's doing so well. My pastor died unexpectedly last year and he was only 47:sad: but his wife and his 15 and 10 year old daughters are doing great! And the thing about the soldiers... That is so adorable! I didn't know B is/was in the military. That's amazing! Tell him thank you! One of my all-time fav. pics is that famous WWII one w/the soldier dipping his girlfriend/wife back and kissing her like there's no tomorrow...

Hey Russty

:lmao: That video is all kinds of awesome! I've seen one their other videos. I remember it also being rather goofy :giggle:

Night SG!!!

Kaf, pull up a chair. My back almost always hurts, to some degree. Last week, I did some cleaning/lifting. Generally, with a day or so of rest, it's fine. But then I lifted a very heavy a\c the next day...then it was okay....then Thursday, there was some....uh....recreational strain :shifty: then Friday, walking all over TO, and then GA for the Killer's show...today, I'm all hunched over. :scream:

Sweet dreams SG I can't wait to read the new chapter.

Brittany, B served over in the Gulf during Desert Storm. Sadly I was just a young girl when he left and went there. He comes from a long line of soliders, but he really had no clue that he would end up in a war. It changed him for forever. But I'm so proud that he served our country and so thankful every day that he came home to me. One thing he did do that was really cool when he was in the military he was in our countries only silent drill team. It was about 100 soilders and they would preform these amazing marches while spinning rifles the whole time. What was so incredible is that there was no music or commands and they were all perfectly insync. The rifles are incredibly heavy as well. I have him on tape doing it and it still blows me away how talented and strong he is.

 Don't get me started. My night's pretty much the same, except it's just me and my dog. I'm sitting here eating junk food and thinking about the fact that I SHOULD be sleeping but I don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon :p
