I do know what you mean.
And I admit, I do not find B then quite as hot as I find B now (pft, I've got a thing for older men )
Now, considering that if I was going to school with them at that time, my fashion tastes would "coincide" with theirs, ie I wouldn't mock the mullet quite so much ......I think it's likely that I would find them hot, if I knew them. I mean, I love B's sense of humour, chram, talkativeness........and I recognize similar triats in friends I have now.
And I know B was open to people not as religious as he...

I think it's possible...
