Had a crack at the lyrics:

The sea wants to kiss the golden shore
The sunlight warms your skin
All the beauty that's been lost before

I can't fight you anymore

The sea throws rocks together but time
Gives us polished stones

We can't fall any further and
We can't feel ordinary love

I think it's "leaves us polished stones", "And build our house in the trees"
and "That my words could/couldn't wash it away" - hard to tell though!

I really like the lyrics and the song, it's like listening to beach clips back in 2008 :D

Maybe it's 'words fly high in the summer sky' - it's a bit more Bono I think, but I could be wrong ;)
 
Not a bad tune, will wait until a proper recording or actual release to make a real opinion, but just glad to say there is new U2 music coming :hyper:
 
Very encouraged by the song even if audio quality is poor. U2 old school majestic with a bit of a new twist. Songs for soundtracks have to have mainstream appeal so presumably album will feature the meatier stuff. But it's not cheesy or by the numbers so can't complain.
