Yes yes there was pain, it hurt but like I said you have to try to block it out. The funny one of my face I think was when he went over the same spot twice, thats when it really hurts.

And oh!! Now you'll have to get another tattoo! There's some kind of tradition that says that the number of tattoos you get has to be odd....I know it sounds weird, but it's just what i have heard....

I have a sort of u2-ey tattoo on the inside of my left ankle. It's a tattoo of the heart stage! It's only about an inch and a half but to me it's pretty and it's u2-ey.

Like Sicy said, I wanted to get something u2 related without actually tattooing U2 on me so I went with the heart.

My next tattoo is going to be of a Sunflower, (my fave flower)on my back.

They are mucho addicting.

Yknow, actually.. it wasnt as painful as the one on my hand.. or even the ones on my ankles. Maybe I was just at a point where I KNEW what it was going to feel like and I just knew what to expect. Its gonna hurt no matter where you get it.. but its just all a matter if you can handle the pain or not.

The first tattoo killed me man.. on my hand (you can see it in a couple of those pics) on my bones.. :-\ I was squeezing the shit out of my friends knee let me tell you. But by the 3rd tattoo I already knew what to expect so I braced myself. With the U2 one, I also think that maybe I wanted it soooo bad that I didnt care about the pain. Hehehe.

Dont get drunk before you get one though, alcohol thins out your blood and makes the tat bleed and scab.. and in some cases ruins it.
