I have just been looking at the livenation website and according to the show info Wembley will get a 2 1/2 hr show whereas all the other Uk shows will be just 2,what's this all about
there's rumors on the internets.

Confirmed RUMOR: Wembley DVD?
They probably won't care too much about venue curfews either.

Really? Do they have a history of that?
From a business standpoint, it would seem foolish to get dinged and fined for stepping on curfews. The penalties for breaking curfews in the states are ludicrous
And U2 aren't exactly known for having free-wheeling anything-goes shows. At that level, I don't think anybody is, really.

I wish they'd extend their shows into the 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 hour mark. 2 1/2 should be the minimum and this could extend out to 2 3/4 on 'special' nights.
not sure whether the predicted earlier start at wembley has anything to do with the shows being filmed.
If anything wouldn't you expect them to start later when there is less daylight?
Its probably to do with the very strict curfew imposed by the council around Wembley (Brent?) of 22.30 for every concert.
all I know is I don't want to hear one fucking word about africa. That was soooo 2005.
u2 shows are almost always between 2 hours and 2 hours and 20 minutes. They never play less than two and rarely over 2:20. But really, does it matter if one show is 2:15 and the next is 2:12? No. And you can bet no one but u2 will decide how long they will be playing at any given show.
