I can't exactly speak from personal experience relationship-wise since I've never really HAD one, but I can say that looks are entirely subjective and I have never fallen for the guys I find to be the most attractive at first. Guys become more attractive to me as I get to know them, even if initially I wasn't attracted to them at all. I don't know if this works conversely with guys but I'll bet it does to some extent. Not every guy has a supermodel gilrfriend.

Haven't you ever been attracted to someone and you don't even know what they look like? I have. For example, online. Even if I find out what someone looks like and I'm not as attracted to them physically as I might be to someone else, for me they are still extremely attractive because of their other attributes and the the way they treat me. Or I can see that they are physically attractive but for me no matter how good looking they are, I will never find them attractive because of the way they act and the things they say.

Treat a woman with much kindness and respect and they will respond in kind. Try it.

You need to get some balls and do something with yourself other than this moping...do you go out often at all? My advice is get a hobby that requires going somewhere and interacting with people.

Love is a much deeper thing than looks...yeh attraction helps initially but no amount of attractiveness is going to keep a relationship going...getting someone may be initially harder for you but keeping them in the long run will be easier (as long as you make the attitude adjustment)
