's Birthday to get out of work.
I was called in to work when I really didn't want to for the eighth. I excused myself by saying "Oh sorry, see this guy I like, Dave is having his birthday and I want to go". Not, of course admitting that it's happening half way around the world and I may WANT to go but it's not going to happen, and that I've never actually MET Dave. Or ever will. Or that he's a super-big-rockstar named The Edge.
