Getting back to the thread topic, the best thing to do to try to meet the band is to wait outside the arena for them to come for sound check. That can happen anywhere between maybe 2:30 and, if they arrive ridiculously late and skip soundcheck, 6:30. If they have time, and if the crowd is behaving (ie nobody pushing, freaking out, or rushing at their vehicles when they arrive), they might come out to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans. Usually, it's just Bono and Edge. Adam comes out occasionally, but Larry usually doesn't. I've tried a couple of times this year, but haven't had any luck yet.
After the show, they leave immediately. By the time Larry leaves the stage at the end of 40, the others are probably already in their cars. The afternoon is probably your best shot.
