I should add that so far it's reminded me both of beach clip 402 from 2006 and WITS. But it's not really like WITS WITS is more soary and sugary.

I agree. I just went back and listened to 402 and this new clip back to back a few times, and I can hear 402 in there, but it's darkened and much denser.
