I think I'd rather watch the 2010 Prelim. Cats and Gold Coast is on Fox, but who gives a fuck about the NAB cup? (actually I have a Canucks game from this afternoon to watch!) I've already been boning up on Radiohead actually, I'm still not game enough just yet to listen to Amnesiac and HTTT, but I'll get there.

Went to the city > saw a couple of religious nuts protesting > lol'd.

:crack: Put The Wall on repeat and forgot about it while I played solitaire for hours. This should make for interesting dreams.

Oh my god, seven concerts in eight days, culminating in Soundwave. I told my body to not get sick until the run was over ... unfortunately, it took me too literally and I woke up this morning sick as a dog. :crack:

But hooooly shit, what a run. I'd be so fit if I did this every week.

Because I can't be bothered with RMT drama: Cobbler, why on earth did you buy Sign O' The Times for ANY price?

But then I think I'm the only person on earth who hates Prince. I don't mind some tracks ... but generally when they're covered by people who don't make my skin crawl. Like there's an early PT recording of Yellow Hedgerow Dreamscape with a cover of The Cross as an intro and it's fantastic.

I consider it sometimes, but I'm just so over pointless Intarwebz arguments with people who think nobody should be allowed an opinion different to their own that I can't be fucked. I mean, I'm really not sure what the difference is between a certain RMT suspect and a certain Rate The Song controversialist sometimes.

Speaking of Rate the Song, though, OOTS and SYCMIOYO, two of U2's very worst songs, over Crumbs and AMAAW?

You suck, EYKIW/regular concertgoer.

Shades of Laz/Nick66?

Ok, the Thunderstruck drinking game is aweosme, but I have nevr chugged beer before and I felt soooo sick afterwards, and now I feel really great and I'm going to drink some Bacardi and watch How I met Your Mother Now because I can't find Retur n of the JEdi :( , but it's ok cause I gecna grunk and watch that tomrrow instead.

Hooray for working midnights and 6 am beoing the evening for me? what?

I was around them last week, luckily they were outnumbered as fuck. Buncha guys were in steampunk gasmask geddups goosestepping around them. I have a few friends that protest against them on a regular basis. I wish the police weren't so chickenshit and just got rid of them once and for all.

Dreamt about running a Dairy Queen and the JonBenet Ramsey murder.

WHAT THE FUCK.

They're not really that awful considering the fact that they're so few and that they practically humiliate themselves so effortlessly. There's really no need for them to be escorted away from the premises.

If you want a group that really do need to be escorted away, there are a bunch of fundie anti-abortion nutters in East Melbourne who have a basically permanent protest of an abortion clinic, and they spend most of their time harassing both patients and local residents/business owners. No amount of complaints has resulted in them being moved on.

Melbourne Council's protest blind spot - The Drum Opinion - While Melbourne Council shuts down one peaceful protest, an anti-abortion protest, which has already claimed one life, rages on just up the road. (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

I'm going to laugh so hard if Coldplay and Radiohead's concerts clash with each other.

It'll be great though, because it'll mean there'll be practically nobody at whatever show I actually want to go to that night. The Corner or the NSC half to myself? Yes please.

Connan Mockasin.

Not much of a fan myself. First heard of him when he scored the opening slot for Crowded House in Europe (I think Elroy Finn was in Connan's live band at the time). Listened to his album Forever Dolphin Love and thought it was pretty mediocre psychedelic pop with bizarre squeaky vocals. I don't know, maybe you'll like it more than I did.
