Miami date leaked? Pre sale on Nov. 3.

If the other dates drop soon and the Lambeau one is correct, I won't be able to commit and won't try for tickets. Still too many questions regarding job until end of January/inventory. Was hoping nothing would go on sale til Feb..

I've seen that!!

Lucas Oil would be nice if we're still here (and the contract with the realtor is up Tuesday, so we probably will be). Party at my house!

That does suck that the pre-sale is so early. Miami I can probably do since it's on a Friday and the same state - but how am I supposed to make travel plans for something 9 months away?

I hope to be paying for my driving stupidity from August this week...my entire savings account is pegged for deductibles and newly inflated insurance premium. Also, we still own a condo in Indy and are racking up hotel royalty points in Atlanta. U2 in the more distant future that the next 24 hours is NOT in our scope right now.

I can understand the desire to capitalize on the whole DVD/concert on You Tube but these tickets do not really need to go on sale until next year. I think w/ the YouTube stream they will gain some newbies, but I also think they may lose some of the regulars that go to more than one show (I should say that I think some of that happened w/ Bruce. He announced new tour for WOASD right after the Super Bowl. He captured new fans from the performance but some of the *regulars* couldn't commit to more than one or two dates compared to the 3,4, 5 shows they went to in the past.)

I still would like to see them lose that friggin' overpriced stage and go back to arenas. There I said it.........not only am I not a fan of Sexy Boots to the extreme, but I am also not a fan of the stage. Performance vs. gimmick

Flame me now.

I should add that the Vegas show and the Rose Bowl show are also *vacation destination* type concerts. Wouldn't be going to just see U2 but to go to Hoover Dam, desert, check out the new parts of the casinos and Disney/Universal and ocean etc. in CA. Also to see/meet Interferencers at the show.

Trust me when I say that half the reason U2 at Lambeau Field appeals to me is just that~ AT LAMBEAU FIELD

Wait! Are you talking Bruce, or next year's U2 shows? I am so out of the news loop--haven't seen anything all day. I agree Lucas Oil would be nice--so close for me, too--like 65 miles.

NW pilots that got *distracted* in their flight from San Diego to Minneapolis that over shot and flew to Eau Claire :crack:

Note to self:
Pay attention to weather forecast before heading off to sleep. This is esp. important when you are slightly freaked out from watching Paranormal Activity :crack:

Put tv on sleep mode and fell asleep. At 3 ish I woke up to the door rattling and in a dark room. I laid there scared for a little bit until I realized that I left the window open a little bit and the wind picked up.

I was surprised that I liked the movie. The last indy horror flick I saw was Blair Witch and I really hated that movie.

Off to be productive

So if Schmeg isn't around tonight I shall assume she is Vegas bound :)

Next years U2. Miami accidentally leaked onto TM's website. I guess it has been pulled.
U2 2010 show in Miami listed on Ticketmaster

Thanks, Shari. When they were in Chicago, during a radio interview, Bono said something about "when we come back here next year--oh, I wasn't supposed to say that." So there is hope! Guess I'd better be re-upping my u2.com membership!

Not a part of Facebook anymore........deleted my account.
I got a text from ARW, "Met Bono"
:hyper:

Off to sleep  Will read about the show tomorrow

:drool::drool: awesome night last night! I had so much fun! We were in the pit on Adam's side, which was NOT the right view for me :edge: So I wandered out and went over to Edge's side for a few songs and had an amazing view. Then I went and stood in the middle and back before I went back to find Karen. Once back over there I still wasn't happy with that angle so we went back out into the middle. I'm SOOO happy I walked around and got to see lots of different views. Met lots and lots of blue crackers the last few days, oh and Bono!!!!

Off to the airport in a few. See ya from MN!!!

random observation....I was amazed at how many people just put up with their crappy views on the sides by Edge and Adam and never wandered around. They could barely see anything, including the screens that were blocked by the the bridge but they just stayed put all night

I was listening to the show as I was falling asleep. Sounded really good for a change from the link.
That is the really good thing about GA it seems ~ the ability to wander around.
Meeting of Bono again  Sounds like quite a few blue crackers met *the man*.

The amount of obstructions the stage has is one of the :crack: things that make me not like the stage. Prefer the heart or the circle. I guess I am not into the theatrics

I think the stage is so high up, that if you're in the pit in one of the first rows it might be hard to see

I didn't try GA or Red Zone this tour, so I'm not sure.

I really lucked out with the seating at the Norman show and how the stage was turned around because of the size of the stadium. That was a great view :)

arw, do you have pics of your Bono meeting? :D

Day was going well until my father ran out of excuses to not put the new drapery rod up. The Badgers have a bye week. I hate anything to do w/ putting drapes up so imagine my joy at helping.

 My suggestion of going to Lowes and buying the rod there and having them install it went unheard......Do-it-yourself won

The discussions they are having while I am on a ladder marking the wall where the new hardware goes in are just delightful. :whimper:

pics will be up on my FB in an hour or so. The Bono "meeting" was through a fence. My sister said that doesn't count as "meeting" him but it's way closer than most people have ever gotten to him so it counts! Plus we exchanged hellos. I think that was my 7th Bono face to face and the worst situation since there was a fence but I'm happy. It was pretty easy to see him without hardly any waiting. Just wish The Edger would have stopped :( Everyone around me other than a few blue crackers I was with was just flipping out and shaking. One girl behind me was just being such a hysterical freak with her shaking of a photo she wanted signed....through a fence. The crazier you are the more he ignores and keeps walking down the line. But anyways I took some amazing pics of the show and of B that I'll have up as soon as I check out a few things online.

home! :( I want to see U2 again!!!!!

Lily!!!! :drool::heart::love:

Not to be a smart ass here but, TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!! You Tube :D
Pacific Coast time is gonna wreck havoc with the waking up on Monday and going to work, but gonna suck it up and do just that.

Back on Facebook. Just sent a friend request :) Pictures

I am in absolute computer hell right now. I can't get connected to the internet on my pile of crap even though there's nothing wrong with the wireless because my wireless reader thing says I'm connected. I just now figured out how to get my pics onto my dad's computer, which is not much better than mine. I have been doing this since 4:30

My router does that ocassionally. I unplug it, count til 5, plug it in again. Click on wireless symbol in taskbar, refresh network list. It will suddenly *connect* and work again :crack:
:crack: smiley is the smiley of my day
