i've come to accept two things...
1. the red sox are two wins away from doing something that as little as a week ago i honestly believed i would never see in my life time.
2. i'm a complete sucker for believing the red sox doctors & theo epstein's "story" about curt schilling's ankle. the guy probably had nothing more than a simple sprained ankle, and they attempted to make it sound worse than it was to save face. then they send him out in game 6 and he pitched the game of his life... i still bought it. i believed the "willis reed" bullshit. nuh uh... not anymore. every single person that i've talked to in the sports medicine profession, and being in coaching i know quite a few, all say the same thing... no way in hell he could pitch like that with the injury they claim he has. i put belief aside the first time, believing that he just had this incredible MJ Flu game like performance... no more. I don't buy it anymore. He had a sprained ankle and now he's fine. No one can possiably sell me on anything else.
