Ugh, same. Pop demos/outtakes/alternate versions are basically all I want from the band at this point (That’s a lie, I also want MORE [non-Salome Outtakes] Achtung Baby stuff, all of the Zooropa and Passengers sessions and whatever they were working on at the end of the decade).
The album - and...
The functionality I currently miss most about the app is tapping a thread’s subject and being taken to the newest unread post. There doesn’t seem to be this function with the mobile view, unless I am totally missing the icon. Anything I tap either takes me to the very first or very last post.
My mom just surprised me with a hotel/ticket package for me and my girlfriend for this date, which also happens to be my 40th birthday. I’m in disbelief.

I've got a ~4 hour car ride on Friday so I'm looking forward to listening to this thing a couple of times.
I've mostly held off on listening to anything except what's been released in full, not to avoid spoilers, but because I'm lazy and don't care that much. Really excited to hear what they've...
Thanks. I was just thinking about how I haven't read much about the sound at the Sphere. Obviously, things seem focused on the video component, but I'm guessing they'll spare no expense on the PA. A great sounding arena show is one of my favorite concert experiences.
That quote immediately made me think of Zooropa and how there's plenty of guitar on the album, but most of it doesn't sound like guitar.
I remember back around ATYCLB or HTDAAB or NLOTH, Edge was gushing about a fuzz pedal (made by Death By Audio, iirc) that he was enamored with. I was excited...
Guys, Larry played bass on the intro to Zooropa. He’ll be there to get his “bawwwn… ba-bawn BAAWWNN” on.
And to sing Dirty Old Town(?) during the SOS b-stage set.
