Add me to the list of people who think "Crystal Ballroom" deserves a spot on the main album. Gets better with every listen.
Not a fan of Lucifer's Hands, but it isn't as bad as I first thought.
I did enjoy the acoustic tracks, love the alternate "Sleep Like A Baby Tonight" lyrics, and although...
Several weeks with SOI now. Almost ready to write my full review. Wanted to avoid the hyperbole that accompanies a lot of my reviews (although I do still love NLOTH)...
I feel stronger about this album than I did a few weeks ago. Although I could certainly live without "The Miracle," this *is*...
"Raised by Wolves" is the dark horse track on the album. It's emerged at the top of the heap, when it really didn't feel like the album had a standout track at first.
I think this could eventually reach classic status. It had to grow on me. I really didn't like it at first. Now can see it being...
Maybe, but this is a much stronger song. "All Because of You" has a forced chorus; sounded like they didn't know what to do there. "Invisible" is stronger, overall. Not classic U2 by any means, but strong enough for an album track.
It's a remarkable album, so this is very difficult.
Today, this is the list. It will change tomorrow. And it will change again during the tour:
1) Unknown Caller (Started at the top, and has remained, although some others have gotten closer.)
2) Breathe (The live performances pushed this way...
Yep, it does for me, too. I'm so addicted to this song (and the album). The only reason I don't loop UC that often is because there's so much greatness in the rest of the album.
Interesting. I hadn't noticed the pattern of COL fans.
I also find it extremely interesting that, although the vast majority seem to love the album on a whole, the ones who don't, make a very strong case, and are very definite about their stance. Fascinating.

Thanks for the insight, Dana. I did not realize that. I'm definitely digging COL a lot more since I wrote the review (you can tell how often I've been listening), and now knowing its point of view, I have a better perspective.
Thanks for that link, also. That is the best article I've read...
