Sweet as, thanks! Nothing had shown up on Google when I searched there.

So now we can tick off another rumoured date as confirmed. Wonder how long U2.com will take to announce it. And will St Louis be announced today too?

St. Louis is to be announced at 11a.m. local time...

Ah bollocks, that's 3am Melbourne time. No way I'll be up then.

Baltimore is now on Ticketmaster with presale info:

Onsale to General Public Start: Mon, 11/08/10 10:00 AM EST

U2.com Presale Start: Wed, 11/03/10 10:00 AM EDT
End: Fri, 11/05/10 03:00 PM EDT

Costing them is right.....the ONLY US date that shows completely sold out on U2.com right now is Nashville.

yet they continue to announce more US dates and nothing for Europe where they comfortably sold out most venues.............

the reason there are tickets available in a lot of areas is because of what was returned due to the rescheduling of the tour. there was probably some tickets returned to almost every price level, thus making it seem like the shows are selling poorly, but i seriously doubt that is the case. before the back injury almost every show was sold out or close to it. remember Paul M. said there was just over 1 million tickets sold for 16 shows. That is an average of 62,500 people per show. Paul M also said he was suprised that not many tickets were returned and that 1/3 of them had been bought back and that was months ago. all the new concerts that have been added so far are very close to selling out as well. with christmas around the corner and possibly a new album, the USA leg next year will be a big success. i say keep adding as many possibly venues as they can. already with mexico there over 1.4 million tickets for the N. American leg 2011.

I was able to pull up 40 tickets for Miami last week.

Funny that all the new shows are doing great, and the rescheduled shows (suffering from postponement) are kinda dead. But as we saw last year, ticket sales went much faster in the last 2 weeks before the first show (which never came to be).

Now where's that Latin America announcement?

I was actually going to post exactly what you wrote. If I am no mistaken, the following cities were listed as sold out (or very close to) right after the initial announcement: Oakland, Anaheim 1 & 2, Montreal 1 & 2, Minneapolis. Add to that two shows in Mexico and the most recent one in Nashville and tickets are actually selling very well in NA. I think when all is said and done, the 2nd leg of the US will have out grossed the 2nd leg of Europe (if there are more NA shows, then I would even be willing to say that AVG gross per show will be higher as well).

Rest assured people, U2 will almost certainly tour the UK again with a show in France and a couple in Amsterdam to boot. Rumors indicate 10 more shows but you could give or take a show or two based on the level of demand ( I would think demand will be more on the positive side as opposed to negative).

My real question is will they hit Japan? In order for this to be the ultimate tour, Japan would be a must! I would think two shows in Japan, perhaps 1 in S. Korea (is that crazy??) and add to that 1 in Hawaii.

here were ticketmasters results 1 month before the injury, 2 months after, and today. as you can see originally the usa leg was almost sold out. now you can see that since the dates were rescheduled, 18 multiples dwindled down to either being sold out or only single tickets available only. the only show i have not included in here is salt lake city since it is not on ticketmaster and of course the new shows that have been added to the 2011 leg.

1 month before Injury
135-single/sold out sections
30-multiples sections

2 months after Injury
68-single/sold out sections
97-multiples sections

NOW
86-single/sold out sections
79-multiples sections

forgot to mention there are 10 more multiple sections where i could only pull up 3 tickets at once so they are close to selling out as well.

With regard to UK dates, do Brent Council still limit the amount of shows at Wembley each year? With TT doing 7 nights it doesn't leave much scope with other bands. Perhaps U2, if planning on playing London will turn to Twickenham (hopefully) again?

Bah, four minutes too slow. Was too aghast at that whole schedule.

Guaranteed I could walk around town (here in the usa) and ask tons of people if they know who Take That is and maybe, just maybe 1 or 2 people might know. UK appeal, definitely! World Wide appeal, definitely not..lol
