We still have to settle our little dispute about Jack White somehow. I imagine it will end with you attempting to kill me. Or a battle of haikus. We might even go Powerjuice (after we go political, of course).

There's no dispute, it was just funny, you calling me biased while talking to GAF. Guess who else is biased when it comes to that band? GAF! We're just biased in different ways. So it was kind of a comical post. But, yes, we ought to go Powerjuice.

Knock it off.

Oh, I know. The much more remarkable part of that conversation was the first thing I said.

POWERJUICE.

We would go corporate later, but that would imply that anything was left after we went Powerjuice.

I still have no idea what that was actually supposed to mean in reasonable terms, but I'm glad it happened.

I'd sell out for Powerjuice even if it meant Laz would refer to me as Phil$Fan. That's the power of Powerjuice.

Peefer, Japanese words do not require an "s" at the end to make them plural. The plural form of haiku is haiku.

You just made the list, buddy.

Listening to Michigan for the first time on the insistence of one of my friends (who placed it in his top 20 of 2000-2009).

Sufjeezy's best.

Shouter, looks like NNF is open after all. Thanks again for the email tip.

Did anyone get around to listening to Sufaloof's BQE? It was pretty dazzling up until the electronic stylings took over. Great studying music to boot.

I have it. It's not bad, but not something I'll listen to on a regular basis.

Here we go:

I've never really listened to Snufadilly's music.

Lucky man. Take a few tracks from each record (the ones you hear most often mentioned are genuinely brilliant), listen to them, enjoy them, and move on. I beg you. Or, you know, spend like 95 minutes listening to an album called, in abridged form, Illinoise!.

And you're welcome, Impy. Very, very curious to hear your thoughts, if you make it to that show. There, my friend, you will find the people that fly-by-night hipsters are trying to emulate. It should be a fascinating experience, with or without the music.

In case anyone is waiting for theirs, my copy of Artificial Erection showed up today.

I don't care if the rest of the thing is shit, I'm just glad to have a perfect quality version of the Cock Crazy live Remix.

Mine arrived today as well. And agreed with the sentiment expressed above.

I like most of the remixes. There are a few I don't ever need to listen to again, but I'm mostly pleased with it.

I bought a ticket to go see LaRoux next month, which is cool.

I'm also .... fingers crossed ... about to pull the trigger for my current holy grail - 4 seats for Le Shuttlecoque in Minneapolis. I won't be completely at ease until they're in my hot little hands.
