ah. yeah, i'm assuming i'll be Breathe too then. hopefully it all works out in the end.

i wonder when i'm getting my email.

Where did you find your code? Now granted I am one of those with a way messed up account but I do have my Fanfire confirmation that I paid and my profile says paid member until 11 December 2010 (which is odd in itself).

I signed up just this morning and already found mine. I went to U2.com, then went into the tour page, then chose Purchase Tickets, then on this page chose the Sign In at the top right, then the background changed from sand to black, I clicked the Tours tab and the presale code was on that page.

This is the seating / price example for Amsterdam Arena and I guess it will be similar for other venues. One question remains: what happens in that big black hole? Will this be for U2.com members??

Also please note. That as of right now. There are not even 22,000 paid subscribers to U2.com.... I would be thinking that there is at least 8-10,000 GA tickets for a single show.....

Me and my wife are in Breathe also. I was a Prop member from mid-90's up until 2005. Let u2.com lapse. Rejoined mid-Feb. My wife joined last Thursday....

how do you know about the number of paid subscribers? is that genuine? :hmm:

hey, how did you get to this page to see what price/seating is it?

exactly. i'm probably shooting for GA's as well. so hopefully it's not an issue.

i'm normally not one to complain, but i think this seniority thing is purt shit, since i was a Prop member also, but will most likely be screwed because i didn't pay the last couple years.

i am end the same boat. i was prop member since 1987. let my u2.com membership lapse for about 6 months. now i am in a later group?

the only consolation, is how would they keep track if you hadn't had a continual membership. i do wish, they would have said you had to keep it current for seniority, then i would have done it- even though the site is useless when they are not touring.

i'm guessing the black area is for the lottery winners.

i think the area is much smaller than that. look at the video on u2.com. it looks like there is a smaller area all the way around the stage, that will serve as the ellipse. still a terrible system.

So Im confused says code can only be used once..so you have to buy all 4 tickets in one shot? In other words can't buy NJ one day and then Tampa another? What if they go onsale different days?

No email for me yet but I have an A code and uninterrupted subscription since the site opened, so I think I am good! 2 Tickets for Chicago coming up. The husband will get to experience U2, and his wife in full blown U2 mode, for the first time. God help him. :reject:

I also am a little annoyed about the seniority thing. It should be total years of service :D I've been a "member" of u2.con, just not a paid member since the end of 2005....

I don't think there will be a problem getting tickets since it will all be GA. It doesn't seem like there are "special" golden circle tickets. Stadium hold way more people on the floor than arenas. And frankly there ain't that many u2.con subscribers right now.... They ain't going to all be going for the same show...

Also, if you are a Horizon Group member you could sell you code on ebay for $300. Someone just did....

I"m a Breathe
Not sure where I want to get the tickets for... would love to see them i Barcelona with a friend, but then again I want to see them in London with my sister for her birthday (14th august)

i didn't get an email either so i have no idea which group i'm in. i didn't get a couple of emails in the past either so i'm wondering if my account is screwed up. and i can't find anywhere where you can get the presale email resent.

does anyone know what the years of membership #'s for each group????

I just hope that the ellipse is a total lottery system.

I don't think the Horizon Group actually goes back that far. I think if subscribe early last year you are probably in the Horizon Group.. You can go to the tour page on u2.con and your code will be there. If it is U2A then it is Horizon group, if it is U2B then it is breathe group...

So on the website it says "On Sale Soon" for the Toronto date. Is that for the pre-sale or for the public sale? I've been away a while (been sick for 9 days) so I'm a bit behind on whats been going on.

Also, is it too late for me to subscribe and get into the pre-sale?

thanks

I haven't received an email either. I found my presale code on their website, but I hope I'll get an email soon!
When will we know when the presales start? and how much tickets are?

Loving it!

I'm in the Horizon Group as well! Sweeeet!

This seniority thing is exactly what I hoped for when I kept faithfully renewing my membership year after year!! Thrilled to see it finally paid off and hopefully will continue paying off!

:hyper:

Do you guys think they'll add more shows though? Just one date in each city may not be enough.

i think that A, B thing has been proven to be false though.
