Guys, how long is too long to wonder about a neighbour who hasn't shown up? I'm going to go give his dog a few chicken wings to see how hungry she is. If she wolfs them down then I'm going to contemplate calling the police. He hasn't shown for like 4-5 days or something.

Prices are always cheaper there.

Nah, I sat at home and tried to swim off the hangover. The night before was amazing, though.

They are. Got mine for $6.45, used.

Sounds like fun. What have you been up today, besides recovering?

Soiled?

Um. I woke up at 7am to flirt with a friend's girlfriend who has a thing for me. I'm now sitting here listening to The Clifford Ball.

No, just a bit bland and boring. Better than nothing.

Fun. I'm going to take all the music off my iPod and reset it. It's starting to freeze too much and annoy me.

Could he just be on holidays?

Ah, yeah, fair enough.

It was fun! And then swimming while drunk was awesome. Especially because I'm apparently quite warm, and it was windy. And there were ladies there.

Um. A better idea would be to throw it against the wall, no?

That would be logical, but his dad comes around to collect his mail and feed Jessie when he's away. And no one has seen the dad and no one has collected mail. Just seems odd. And also he was on holidays over Christmas and went back about 2 weeks ago. To be gone again just seems odd.

Anyway, the dog seems OK. She was keen as mustard for the chicken wing, but apparently that's because raw chicken is the bees knees to dogs?

I'll give it a day or 2 more and then become the nosey neighbour.
:sigh:

 Liam, you pasty babe magnet.

I've already tried that. Just made it freeze more.

Hmm, yeah, that does seem a bit suss. Hopefully it's nothing. But if something were up, you'd think perhaps his father might've noticed by now, then?

i'm... what's the word when it's not bored, but restless and lazy and the same time?

nevermind. too much to do, no one to do it for me.
:woe:

damn sister in law is coming around soon. :grumpy: she better not stay.

I hope he's okay, Anna.

 Hey, the dog has the same name as me.

i think the father really only drops around if Pat (the neighbour) is away. and he's hard to miss. he parks right in the middle of the road

i'll wait. thanks for being rational.

Hah, right. I'd think they'd at least talk at some point in 4-5 days, like text messages or phone calls or whatever, so hopefully his father would've noticed by now if something really is awry. It's the long weekend anyway - maybe he's just had one hell of a blinder.

At least you notice your neighbours! I wouldn't have a clue when mine come and go. They could all bugger off and I'd never know.

Hey gump, good to see you. How's it going?

Good to see you too. I'm enjoying my vacations at home. Unfortunately it's coming to an end soon...

How is it going on the other side of the globe?

 Hi Bonnie!

And hello, gump. Don't believe we've met.

Bonnaios! I'm preparing to melt in one hell of a heatwave. And start a new Survivor tournament, once I can decide if I want to run multiple rounds simultaneously or not. You?

Glad to hear the holiday's going well.

It's not been bad here, haven't been up to much. Should probably do something productive, but with the next four days all forecast to be 40+ degrees Celsius, I'm not sure I'll be getting much done ...

I was watching the Australian Open on TV last night and I could see the players were really suffering. I hope the weather will get better soon... I'm actually kind of disappointed I'll be flying back to ice cold Europe on Monday.

I feel so sorry for the tennis players. I've no idea how they're meant to get through this upcoming week. I'm just hoping the forecast is wrong. Melbourne's the kind of place with such wildly variable weather that you can't even trust looking out the window to tell you what the weather will be for the next five minutes.

And I must say I'm jealous of the thought of ice cold Europe! But I'm the kind of guy who'd follow winter around the world if I were in a position to do so.

If you run it simultaneously, would you run parallel rounds for all albums at the same time or just a few albums a time?
