Ahh cheers:up:

There has been so little fanfare from the band, it's just been odd. It's a bit like they are giving people time to digest Get On Your Boots.

I think it's kind of refreshing actually. Though I'm sure the media blitz will start up soon, it's nice to let the music speak for itself every once in a while.

 Beats me, but October does have some cool songs ie I Fall Down.

Uh well to be honest I rank all the 90s albums above the J Tree, as well as probably Unforgettable Fire....so it kinda comes fifth in my list.

I can understand that. I don't expect everyone to think it's a masterpiece, or at the top of the heap. Cocktung Baby has been my #1 since it came out, and I occasionally rank Cockropa and POPPYCOCK above it as well. But second-to-worst album? I can't imagine any kind of justification for that. Even if you didn't like them "going American", wouldn't you still like it better than Shuttle & Bum?

At least this person had the decency to put All That You Can't Leave Courtside below it in the bottom spot.

No justification for that at all...The Bomb though would probably be bottom of my list then, Cocktober or whatever we're calling it and the Shuttle and Bum...All That You Can't Leave Courtside I enjoy quite a bit, I have no major hangups about it, but that may be just because that's how I got into Shuttlecock, but my opinion on it hasn't changed.

I consider all albums they've put out good to great, except for The Bomb, it's not even the production that stops me liking it, it all just seems horribly forced to me.

Cockropa over the Joshua Cock, Laz? Really? Come on.

All That You Can't Leave Courtside will always be my least favorite Shuttlecock album. This is always relative, of course, in that I still like the album.....but it's clearly below the others. For me.

I'm listening to Cockropa right now. It's easy to forget how good this album is.

I love Cockropa. Very much actually. I remember how thrilled I was when it came out. Just sort of arrived out of nowhere on the heels of Achtung Baby.

I just....and I know it's all subjective.....cannot mention it in the same sentence with The Joshua Cock.

I can understand that. It should also be said that my post isn't a list of their best albums (I think AB & JT are neck and neck), rather its a rank of my favorite albums.

1. The Joshua Cock
2. The Unforgettable Cock
3. Ball Boy
4. War-Cock
5. Cocktober
6. Cocktung Baby
7. How to Manhandle an Atomic Cock
8. Cockropa
9. Poppycock
10. Rattle & Cock
11. All That You Can't Leave Courtside

All three 90s albums feel very unfinished, to me. The live versions from all of those albums are unbelievably better than the studio versions.

I totally assumed that to begin with, actually. For all of your complete and utter assholishness, you rarely posit things as anything but your own thoughts as opposed to indisputable facts.

There are times when I think that AB and JT are fairly close, but most of the time, I'll rank JT ahead. Never ever will understand fans that cannot love both albums. Eh.

Saying October is better than Actung Baby is like saying that you'd fuck Rosie O'Donnell before Heidi Klum. It don't make sense.

Achtung Baby is by far the worst produced of the Shuttlecock albums. If it sounded like the songs on the Cock TV Tour did, it would be practically tied for first.

We're of like mind on Atomic Cock, in that we have it ranked pretty high. We're in total disagreement on Unforgettable Cock. You need A Sort of Cockcoming, methinks.

The Cock Wanderer (Lance's Mom) is a great tune.

We were talking about Dirty Cock a few pages back, and how great of a song that one is.....

The Cock Wanderer is a little lower on the scale for me, but I still enjoy it. I'd never seen that version of Shuttlecock playing it Live until recently, actually. Quite enjoyed that.

Hey, I like most of the tracks from that album, in their live incarnations. He hates Ultraviolet, One, and EBTTRT. That's not me.

He and The Sad Cock crack me up lately. She's as predictable as the sun rise with her responses to the band and posts about the band.

I fairly worship that great live version of Ultracocklet.

Am I the only one that feels a little empty on the inside? We missed a golden opportunity today with LastHedgeOnEarth.

Believe this or not, I was just going to be a spectator for that one. I would have liked to see more posts from you and little lord piss, but, I was going to abstain.

You know what makes it? It's the bridge. Bono's vocals soar and you can actually hear Edge's great guitar part (neither of which happens on the album, by the way). It makes the song epic, and I fucking love it.
