I wanted to take one last look at this forum, ONE LOOK, after having promised myself that I wouldn't look anymore. THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE, this is my second favourite U2 song after Streets and I would die a happy man after hearing this live. Fuck me, why did I have to look.

Fuck I am so sick of Elevation. When the Edge said they will be dropping some of the songs they've been playing on the last few tours, Ithis was the one I was hoping for the most. Weak song, so is GYOB but it will probably be played every tour.

I don't understand all the backlash for Elevation. Just think of the atmosphere with 70,000-90,000 people singing along. A great crowd-type song, IMO.

Yes, a second of the clips... I can make out for a second the ooo's from elevation but thats about it.

Elevation is my main problem, the 4 tunes you mentioned would do what Elevation does only 10x's better!!!!!!!!

And it's definitely not a soundcheck jam... there are clearly defined vocals with some really cool sounding harmonies (if only we could hear what Bono and Edge are singing!).

In all honesty, to me, 002... sounds pretty much like how EBW has been described.
