Here's a question.

Which Arpeggi do you guys prefer? The original longer, slower Ondes-fueled version? Or the newer, quicker tour verison?

Personally, I can't choose. I like the faster tempo of the newer version, as well as the momentum the song picks up. But I really love the sounds in the original version. It's much prettier, and I think Thom's vocals work better in a slower tempo.

But if I had to choose I'd pick the new version with an extended into/outro that incorporates ideas form the original verison.

the outro is better on the slower version[Ether Version]
listen to the way he sings

"I hit the bottom and escape"
its gorgeous:drool:

I am hoping that he incorporates that in the studio version

Maybe half of the songs are good? Maybe.

Plus, there's no High and Dry or Stop Whispering.

Yeah, doesn't seem worth it. Plus I've heard the production is substandard.

Radiohead also released 7 Television Commercials, one of the worst cashgrabs I've ever seen. :|

Radiohead just aren't good at releasing quality DVD's. :(

I'm pretty sure this will be the album art:

It's true, this thing is one hell of an interesting watch.... and is better than Meeting People Is Easy.

might give you nightmares if you're not careful though!

Oh, and that Where I End, and you Begin vid... AWESOME

Live at the Astoria is an AMAZING DVD. Trust me. Even if you don't love Pablo Honey, it's definitely worth it. It's easy to find online pretty cheap too.

4. "Black Star" *
5. "Creep" *
6. "The Bends" *

10. "Vegetable"

I put * next to the performances that particularly rock...which as you can see is actually quite a fair number.

And Blow Out gets 8 *'s because it's absolutely freakin' incredible. Buy the DVD just for that.

Another question:

Of all the new songs performed on the last tour, which do you think needs the biggest re-working to make it album-worthy.

I'd have to say House of Cards could use a re-write. I absolutely LOVED the original short acoustic version. And I even liked the newer arrangment at first, but that got old fast. If there's one song that I'd like to see get a complete studio revision, it's HOC. Because I really do want to see it on the album on one form or another.

agreed house of cards needs a rework:down:

to me is still B-Side material

Down is the New Up needs something. I like it but it definitely seemed not done yet.

RadioHead=Boring as was the new Arcade Fire Album.
