Thanks guys . I was really upset, but you guys made me feel better.

I think I'm going to ask the vet if I can try the medication (hopefully the transdermal cream, that would be ideal) and see how Worf does on that. Depending on that, the iodine thing may be an option in a few months, but if the medication does the trick I'll probably keep her on that for now.

I could save up for the iodine thing if needed, but I read that the vet usually has to keep the cat at least 7 - 10 days because of the radioactivity (and Worf would hate that more than going in for blood tests).

s to everyone's kitties. I'm so becoming one of you

So Mr. Kitty is endlessly fascinated by the computer cursor. Earlier I was paying some bills online and he was sitting quietly on my lap, but he had his paws up on the desk and was watching it intently. Sooo cute I swear I didn't pose him like that

Lovey is jealous of my computer. She will jump up and walk across the keyboard, then, I swear she knew the cord near the wall was the internet connection, so she started playing with it. Then she started rambling around in one of the shelves underneath. She wants my attention all the time.. Untill she doesn't then it's "why are you bothering me".

Edited to say: this is nothing compared with her facination with the toilet flushing. That just mesmerizes her.. go figure.

This seems like a good one considering all the kittens we've had around here lately!

Thanks I talked to the vet and I'm going to pick up the prescription tomorrow. I've never given Worf pills before (my Dad did when she was a kitten, but that was a long time ago), this should be interesting
