I'd forgotten you took notes! :lmao:

Weird, I can remember Mofo a lot more clearly than Discotheque. I guess because that's what most people on here were asking me about, how it sounded.

:giggle: It's the only way I would've remembered a lot of stuff later! *snerk* By Tuesday I'd already had 4 days of not going to bed till 3am (though Sat and Sun I did sleep in somewhat) - if not for the notes (including quotes and setlists from the shows if I got them down in time), those 10 days (starting from the Fri before, the night they recorded the Katrina benefit songs) would've been even more of a blur than they are! :lmao:

Hey DG! How are you?

Dazzled, I'm not really "back" to school, I'm still doing the thesis work I've been doing all summer. :) Sarah's really well, thanks! She just started a co-op term, where they work half days in a field they think they might be interested in. She's working in our local MP's office...not sure what the Anerican equivalent is, but he's our national representative. Thanks for asking! :)

How's your mom doing?

I know, it was nuts! I don't think I've ever been as tired as I was that first day in Chicago. Left Toronto on little sleep, came home and repacked, stayed up all night driving to Port Huron...I even slept a little on the train, and I never sleep when travelling.

Well, my work day is finally done. I've been so busy, it will be nice to relax for a few hours. :)

Enjoy Rock Star (to those that watch), and see you later tonight or probably tomorrow!

glad she's doing good. GOOD luck with your Thesis.

Mom's doing gppd.......tho she said she banged into the elevator too much practicing withj her motorchair. AND today she just told me .it started RRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrruuuuuuuuuu and slowed down to a stop. They coukdn't fix it today, so she had a "day-off" in prectice.

I told her TRY to think of it like a shopping cart & you are sitting IN it.

But she sounded good today on phone.

No kidding  We got home from Evan and Amber's wedding reception at about 10:30pm, and I sat down in my room... and Mom had to practically wake me up about 5 mins later to suggest I go to bed *snerk* (Of course had I been in TO, I would've been sleeping/sitting in the GA line with Wild, Ruff and Jem during the night, and got much more sleep than I did on the Fri night after the show - which was none (slept off and on on the train to Chatham Sat morning) )

I just have to mention this: in theo today, we're learning about "Love 101" and my teacher mentioned the importance of self-love. It took so much not to laugh. :lmao:

 thanks VP!

She has her not-so-great days. That's to be expected.
but she's a trooper and know she'll probably just keep working on her driving b/c it really IS her ticket-to-freedom !
ANd she really does have a nice, happy time when we visit her. And me & my sis HAVE been able to take her OUT ONTO the beautiful backyard grounds.

and THEY ARE beautiful  with a view of the NJ Pal;isades and the Hudson River. A big!!! lawn, walkway, gazeebo...BIG TREES and flowering trees!

thanks for asking..........how's your mom?

Drea, it was a wild time, that's for sure. I didn't think I was physically capable of going on so little sleep for so long, and standing for so many hours, but it's amazing the lengths that we fanatics will go to.

DG, did you tell her about the importance of hand sanitizer?

That's great that she's able to get out and enjoy the weather, Dazzled! Must really lift her spirits. :) My mom seems pretty well, thanks. She had some symptoms that were kind of disturbing, and was tested a few days ago. I take her to see a specialist next week. I've been worried, but trying not to dwell on it, trying to keep busy.

I waited outside a few hrs before the shows, stood & danced for at least 85-90% of each show, THEN WAITED outsdie for another 2 - 4 hrs each night . I also stood out for buches of hours on the nights at MSG i didn't have shows for. I prbably got some more sleep than you all, BUT far from my usual amount.

I remember you asking me at one point last year - a month or so later - how I did it... and the answer I gave you then still applies

"Caffeine, adrenaline and Pleba girls, baby :sexywink:"
