how about soundcheck in vienna tonight. then back to london for live8. then fly out to vienna to arrive before 8pm tomorrow? that would give them enough time to play more than 1 song
just a thought....

...soundcheck will be done by the technicians, I guess.

well ,they do have a show in vienna later that evening unlike most of the other artist, but i'm sure they're gonna do more than that

Oh, now I get it! This guy thinks U2 made this picture themselves! I'm sorry but I don't think so. So, I can't be offending U2 here.

am pretty sure they will play more than 1, and this is just a nasty rumour. i havent seen any mention of it anywhere else, and i have read somewhere an article that says EVERY band performing will get 15 minutes

Apparently the running order is in todays papers and it lists U2 as playing SPLHCB with Macca and then "One" ONLY!

In the papers? Must be true then:wink:

The greatest band in the world only gets to play one song of their own? Won't believe it. The Sgt. Pepper part must contain more songs then.

Maybe they don't want to dominate prodeedings by playing 4 or 5 songs.

Another thought.......remember when Sting handed over the reigns to U2 in 1986 ? Maybe Bono is going to do likewise to Coldplay on Saturday.

Wasn't Sting supposed to be playing We'll be Watching You?

Because that would prove that this list is bogus....

Just One song is not enough for one of the best bands on the planet.
While Other 'lesser' artists get 2-3 songs.....Yes U2 have a gig in Vienna that night..They may not soundcheck at all for the gig..........Maybe they have a curfew ;)
