A brilliant song criminally ignored. They ought to play this instead of the usual dross they're playing to keep the scarfers buying tons of merchandise and blowing up balloons during the show. Yes I witnessed this with my own eyes at Twickenham 2.

Though there are many songs U2 don't play that amazes us, Dirty Day is one of those songs that you would think they would love to play. It's got everything in it. Great drums and bass. Classic Edge and Bono falsetto with the song climaxing towards the end with heavy guitar which is the anthemic stuff alot of U2 fans love the band for.
Thank god they used one of the Zoomerang gigs for the live videotape eh?! If not we would have never seen that song done.

I also think this is a good idea, as "Dirty Day" is one of my favourites!I think the fact that the "Please" single has 2 remixes of "Dirty Day" could be a sign that they like the song. Unless it's because they weren't pleased with the album version and wanted to "fix" it...
Either way, I think Bono wouldn't be able to resist 1,000,000 votes, so I'm signing.

to all of you people who think this is stupid, i agree with you 100%. i wanted to start a thread about dirty day, and i decided to throw in an online petition because they are lame as hell and i thought it would be funny. then i decided to tie it into the one campaign, because i thought that would be even funnier.
but now that its started wouldnt it be fun to see how many signatures we could get? nothing wrong with having a little fun.
btw i know a group of people who made it their goal to get Party Girl played during the tour. and well their hard work has payed off as they have played party girl 4 or 5 times on this tour because of them. and hell, one of them got on stage to play it with the band not once, but twice.
so anything is possible, lets keep up the good work!!

Adelaide ZooTV was my first U2 concert, so it will always be the most special I think.
You know, I actually like the part when Bono's plays a couple of strings on his guitar about three quarters of the way through the song. Also, FYI, this was the dress rehearsal concert for the ZooTV Video, maybe they were experimenting with the way in which this song was to be played for the recording.
