I was always assumed I had a good number of tracks already from the "big albums" on the Greatest Hits collection. Looking now, it seems I only know Born to Run and Thunder Road from Born, and Badlands from Darkness. I guess I have quite a bit of good stuff to hear for the first time still.

I like the idea/theme of Tom Joad, and I love the mood of it, but save for a small handful of tracks, I don't actually like it all that much.

It's like splitting hairs, to me. Born to Run is my second favorite album ever and London Calling is my fifth. But they're both right there.

I don't think Joad is a classic or anything, I just think it's underrated.

It's often not even considered.

Probably only a few tracks are essential to have anyhow.

Title track, Highway 69, Straight Time come to mind.
