Howdy there people,
Well it seems like I've missed out on quite a lot.
As a few of you might know, I was quite ill on Thursday. At about 4pm, I decided that the time was right to go to a hospital (I frequently suffer from stomach problems, so I can generally gauge how serious they are).
At the hospital, we initially thought it was appendicitis, then after a CT scan the doctors decided that either my bowels or my appendix had been perforated and needed to be removed immediately.
After the operation, apparently nothing was wrong, no perforations or appendicitis
The only thing that the doctors noticed was wrong was that the scar tissue from my previous operations was pushing against my bowels, causing some pressure.
But while they were in there, they took my appendix out, so that's all good. Now I'm appendix-less, and slowly healing after spending Friday and Saturday in the hospital essentially staring into space!
Dalton, if you ever come down to Melbourne I think I owe you drinks for a night!
