OK, so I jumped the gun

I originally posted that I hated the new U2 album. I had heard it maybe once all the way through, on the radio. I must say that I was a bit aprehensive. I've learned now what most of you have been saying since the beginning. I don't think It's their best, but I'd say about half the album has found a warm spot in my heart. To U2 and all of the interference kids, I apologize.

My fear is that so many of the bad reviews on Amazon.com are because of the same reason, and people will be turned away, because of people who *think* they can publically review an album after listening to it once or twice.

In my opinion, it is irresponsible and does a major disservice.

I don't think that most people read through those reviews to determine whether or not they will buy this CD or that CD. I just think they're a nice way to let the Amazon customers praise or vent.
