I'm listening to Together Alone.

Which you now have, no thanks to a certain Timo we know.

I just got back from the show. Fucking amazing. I heard 9 songs tonight that were new for me this tour. Sicy, daafish, Reggie Thee Dogg and I all got into the ellipse, too! :hyper:

No wonder I couldn't find you all.
I was on the outside.
Of course.
'Cause it took me a whopping hour and 40 minutes to get there.
I left at 6.20 PM and got to the Arena at 8 PM.

But great that you guys all met up and made it in!
WOOHOO!!!
:applaud:
Good to hear.
Very  for every single one of you.
Even though it meant that I didn't get to meet anyone.
Better luck next time.

I still had a blast.
I was standing kinda at the back, near the entry to the ellipse on Adam's side.
I think that's the light control board site.
Plenty of room to dance up a storm.
My feet are killing me.

Did anybody else notice that the African flags didn't come down during Streets?
You could see them hanging with the lights on, but somehow they never moved and then the lights went off.

And wow I can't believe how many different songs I got to hear.
I consider myself very, very lucky.
Great setlist variation in the Bay Area!!!

One final WOOHOO for u2!!

I just found out that was Courtney (Captive) from Exit. Bono also dedicated Bad to the girls of Exit.

I was already wondering who it was.
And why Bono dedicated Bad to the girls of Exit.
I figured they were there.
Thanks QB!

I just posted a bunch of pics in Fan Experiences!

Off to bed now :faint:

I really don't know how people manage to take pictures during these concerts.
I brought my camera yesterday and didn't even try.
Today I left my camera in the car, 'cause I figured it since I didn't use it yesterday, I probably wouldn't use it today either.
It's really too bad, I haven't figured out how to take pictures with my phone.
Any way, my respect to all the photographers out there that are so nice to share their pictures.

Allright, I'll stop posting now, before it looks like I'm talking to myself.

:hmm:
Never mind.
Already too late for that.

The First Time is an encore downer but oh well. Great song just poor positioning.

I just loved the accoustic start of the encore!
The First Time and Stuck in a moment were simply beautiful!!

I should have known that that was going to be the encore, 'cause the guitar techs were walking around on the catwalk with the acoustic guitar before the show started.
But somehow it didn't click then.
Duh!
*slaps hand against forehead*

Any way, I think the accoustic encore is also great because the songs get played at the tip of the ellipse.
Which brings the Edge and Bono closer to those who are further from the stage.

On night 1 both encores were pretty much played on the main stage.
Only during Zoostation did Bono wander a bit on Adam's sight of the catwalk.
But not very far.

Although I must say that the Fly kicked some serious ASS on the first night with the Edge, Bono and Adam on guitar.

I really can't say which show I thought was better.
I immensely enjoyed both of them!
