I'm here, catching up on the Tonight Show
Their answer to Terry Lawless?
He's U2's keyboard technician who was brought on stage to round out the band's sound when they did OOTS live on Vertigo's third leg.
The new place will not smell of Kat pee.
Put mah coat on and now I'm feeling toasty. Am still bored though. Mr Cin is asleep or at least hiding out in the bedroom. CinBoy is asleep as well, lazy arses.
How on earth could I have forgotten this!
(928): Awww my brother is growing up soo fast!! He just gave me the, "I know you're high but I won't tell mom n dad" look!
(704): you dont want to live with me, im always naked, a chronic masturbator, a bit of a voyeur and will likely touch you while you sleep. ps- i can pick locks
(610): Threw my underwear in my purse as I was running away after sex last night, went to pick up my birth control prescription this morning, took out my wallet and accidentally flung my sweet thong onto the counter in front of the cashier. Think that was the universes way of telling me I am a whore.
847): dude, osama threatened the US again
(1-847): dude. i slept with your sister last night
(847): what?
(1-847) I saw that as an opertune moment to drop some big news
(847): My mom was talking about how protein is essential to strong bones and then I told her, I'll give you protein.
(1-847): How unfortunate for your Mom.
(314): First night home from college and I already forgot that walking around nearly naked with my laptop open to smut porn isn't acceptable. Sorry, mom
I really need to grow up and stop giggling at such immature things.
(740): Just saw an old lady trip and stumble. Laughed. Kept Driving. I'm going to hell.
If any of them bothered to get their drivers licences or saved for a car instead of wasting cash on computer shit then they could drive themselves. I could stay home or go visit CinBoy or pack or clean my house or buy some rollerskates. grrrr. They're gonna miss this schmuck when she's gone.
awww, I get so excited when I see an Australia Post van pull up. Always think I've won a lovely prize.
Speaking as somebody who legally can't drive and would love to, it truly amazes me there are people out there who choose not to drive. Now, I can understand taking your time about learning - driving does look fucking intimidating to me. And if you live somewhere like Melbourne, or if you were like my mother and cycled everywhere because you're a fitness freak like that, I can understand not finding a licence a necessity.
But simply never doing it? Especially if you live out in somewhere like Geelong? I don't get it.
everything ok?
Nope! lol. I just have no money. Don't anticipate having any either. Don't know what to do about it.
Another job will turn up soon. How long is this uni break?
if you're totally independent, then i applaud people for not driving. if you're like my mother, my numerous inlaws, cin's friends, my mother in law, or any other lazy fucking sod, then no. i 'not only don't have patience, but i'm annoyed, too. it's a fucking inconvenience to everyone else who has to haul your fucking arse around the place.
I'm here. I'm just....I'm really meh right now.
I'm eating breakfast for the first time in weeks. Do I care that it's actually lunchtime? Hellz no.
Yeah, this. I just don't know how these wilfully dependent sods do it. I feel terrible whenever I ask somebody to take me somewhere out of their way, despite having a perfectly legitimate justification. Alison's taken me shopping a few times lately so that I can bring home more than I can physically carry on the tram, and I feel like I really owe her for that.
Hell, one of the main reasons why I moved to Melbourne was so that I could live somewhere with a transport network that could allow me to do most things without having to ask anybody for help. On the Gold Coast, I was TOTALLY dependent on Mum taking me places and it was awful.
Til August 18th
that's so awesome and so awful at the same time. awful only because you are strapped at the moment. i've no doubt you'll get crafty about this and have an ingenius way to get cashed up before too long!
money is such a curse. why can't we barter?' that was a good system. le sigh.
I'm sure you're very aware that people really don't mind helping out with you. I can't speak for Ali, but I have no doubt she doesn't even see it as a favour, but as another opportunity to catch up and so on. This is what friends do. Freeloaders are a whole different matter. Doesn't stop the guilt, I know. You probably hate putting anyone out, generally, if you feel like this, so don't be worrying!
