Don't Go Where I Can't Follow

For so much of my life
I have cared about you
Day after day
spent....
With you on my mind
here at the end
it's me that can't let go
I want to fall before you,
Slumped down on my knees
To beg your forgiveness,
to ask you one last time
Please don?t go
where I cannot follow.



this is another one I think needs more work. What exactly is it that makes a collection of words a poem. I've never been able to figure that out.

Bonochick, there is a lot more, but I have no idea how to phrase the things flying around in my head and heart. Maybe someday I'll be able to finish it.

when I saw the title it reminded me of LOTR... hehe.

It's very good, it makes the reader want to know the entire story.

It is inspired by LOTR!!!!....well it's inspired by my life but that particular line in Return of the King tugged at my heart-strings so much I had to include it in my poem.
