On last Tuesday, I made the trek up to Edmonton to Game 4 of the Stars/Oilers playoffs series. Needless to say I was excited after waiting for seven years (see last time Flames made the playoffs)... so, I thought I'd share my adventure with my interland peers (believe me there aren't many )... here goes...
First off I thought I'd confirm the fact that Edmonton has the best fans in the league... see for yourself, they're almost pouring out onto the ice to celebrate Sean Horcoff's goal:
By the way, I'd like to thank the efficient construction crews who have been working on the Capilano bridge (sorry, Wayne Gretzky Drive)... it only took me an hour to go from Argyll to 116... that's twenty blocks for all those unfamiliar with Edmonton's awful traffic grid...
