I don't really see much point in them playing both the remix and a band version in the same concert.
They only done that once when they where recording a video.

The same way that "Vertigo" has bis last tour, now we could have the same song twice again... but in different versions.I don't really see much point in them playing both the remix and a band version in the same concert.
^ does the poll not tell you something? the majority like the remix version, you see videos of them playing it and people are having a great time, it looks to create a great atmosphere,
yeah the atmosphere was wonderful! it was just a moment of pure joy and immense fun... i really didn't like the remix version i heard a few weeks back, but the live performance was sweet...
Why are they doing this? Why do they keep playing that remix live?
U2 are supposed to be a rock band, not a remix band.
Many IGCIIDGCT fans, who want to hear the proper version live, will be dissapointed when they pay for a U2 gig only to discover they play a crappy remix version of it instead.
I know I'm gonna get flamed for this btw.
But I repeat: U2 are supposed to be a rock band, not a remix band.

i dont like this remix thing at all ... what a shame and waste
Uh the Remix is still a rock song dude. Don't let the "remix" moniker confuse you.
And I for one fucking love it. THIS is what I want to see when I go to a concert. Not just bit for bit replications of the songs on CD. Otherwise I'd just listen to the album. I wanna see shit mixed up, rearranged, had fun with, and spit out something completely new and unique to the live experience.
I really like the album version, but the live remix version is miles ahead, it's such a joy to see every band member enjoying themselves especially Larry, so he's not confined to the drum kit 100% of the show. It's similar to being at a Disco, it'd be a dream to see Discotheque follow Crazy further into the tour.
Where are you guys hearing this Fish out of Water remix?
i wish i could download it, dag nappit!
