Hey...anyone know the story behind Bono's sunglasses. It was in this week's newspaper. Seems Bono left his sunglasses behind somewhere and wanted to wear them at a concert that evening......he had an airfline fly them in the cockpit to the tune of about $1700.

That sounds like a cheap ripoff of the flying hat story which was also false. I'm sure Bono has more than one pair of shades on tour with him. Don't believe this hype.

No, the real story goes that Bono left Edge behind and needed to fly him in for a concert so Bono paid 200 dollars to fly Edge in by Southwest Airlines.. coach.
