I'm not sure if this has been discussed here before, I wasn't able to do a search of previous topics, but, my question is about the song Blow your house down (not sure this is the exact title), from the Achtung Baby tapes;
how come that song didn't make it to the album?
it's got a really powerful guitar sound with really nice chord changes, with some changes to the lyrics it could have made a very intersting song.
Some journalist said that All Because of You was similar when HTDAAB came out, but I really don't hear the similarity.
Heaven and Hell also sounded like an intersting experiment that didn't make it to any album.

the bass lines sound similar.....it was a demo from Rattle and Hum actually (video proof is out there with bono and edge playing the song to jimmy iovine), it is on you tube. I am guessing the song was a little too generic to make the cut for AB, but I like it!

It would've been my favourite Achtung Baby song if it had made it.... I'm hoping for a version of it on Achtung Baby remastered someday....
