OK, now I have a feeling you don't even know most of the b-sides ... and albums too, not all albums are "front loaded".... Actualy I can only think of ATYCLB and JT (but saying that would be a crime against everything on JT after BTBS, wich is as good as the first songs), maybe also War, yes those albums are alittle "front loaded", but last time I checked U2 had 11 albums...

As for the b-sides argument, U2 could have just not put b-sides on the singles from The Unforgettable Fire or The Joshua Tree and made an album out of them that would rival anything they've ever put out (Imagine they put Heartland on this fictional album since it was supposedly written during the Joshua Tree era). Imagine this album:

It seems like diehard U2 fans try to out-do each other by dropping the names of as many b-sides as they can at every turn in order to "prove" how knowledgeable they are.

I only just read that, what a pile of crap. Why the hell should it annoy you if anyone says something like "Oh, this version is better" if it's their opinion?! Get the hell off my internet.
