Hear Bono and Kofi Annan on Radio 4

Interference.com reader Paul has written in to let interested fans know that Bono and United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan have been featured in a "a six minute audio segment from BBC Radio 4's Today programme broadcast in the UK this morning. The first 2 minutes or so feature Kofi Annan talking about HIV/Aids then this is followed by a telephone interview with Bono live this morning on the same theme."

To listen to this interview, visit: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/today/listenagain/ram/today3_aids_20040713.ram

Thanks to Paul!

Kofi and Bono - like father and son!

And, I think, it was actually Kofi Annan who first used the phrase "There's no them - there's only us" in one of his speeches which Bono liked so much that he used it during the end of "One" at the concert in Modena with Luciano Pavrorotti in May 2003!

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, KOFI AND BONO, AND DON'T LET NO ONE TURN YOU 'ROUND! :bono:
