I prefer the urgency and the understated beauty of the live version. This version seems polished in the verses, but the chorus is too... happy? It's not sticking with me emotionally.

This is a real stand-out for me. Not single material... But akin to one of those AB tracks like Ultraviolet that really bolstered the album. Very emotional, very 'Unforgettable Fire' in its sound. Edge's guitars are so 80's it's shocking.

The chorus ruins this song for me... The verses are amazing. The tension held in the line "I don't believe anymore" is very palpable, but then the campy transition into the chorus, and the generic chorus brings me right down.

Hate it. Mainly cause since I've heard the song I've had a much cooler video in my head, and the video seems really uninspired... especially the parts with the band playing.

Stand Up Comedy sounds like 4 men in their late 40s trying to be hip with the kids and teach them a lesson. Not good.

I think one of the main reasons they're releasing another album is to get songs like Winter out... I'm sure they know it's good enough, but they just didn't like how it fit on this album.

Yeah definitely... especially at the end of the song. My only complaint about this song is that it could have peaked a little stronger at the end, been a bit more abrasive and really exploded, and I think with live instruments and a live setting it will get there.

When Bono hit the high notes at "Touch me...." it was like a shock wave went through the whole place... great stuff. His voice is strong.
