I definitely agree. If an album is mastered properly, there shouldn't be any need to remaster it anyway.

I just got the 1 disc re-issue and my verdict on the "tweaked" tracks is that they are indeed only slightly tweaked. My setup is a yamaha amp with Senn HD595s so the difference should be noticable if there is any. This is definitly a money grab. lol Ah well, my old disc was getting scuffed :P

Hint...you can find it online if you know where to look. ;) But i'm in the same boat. As nice as it would be to have physical copies of this stuff, most i already own. I mainly want the re-issued Zooropa, especially if its been tweaked. U2 Achtung Baby / Super Deluxe Edition and Uber Deluxe...

I completely agree about the hybrid senario. Also Ultra Violet vocals sound exactly like the album version to me, with a bit more added to the end.

So does anyone here think Zooropa will be released on its own? I would hate to spend $120 on the super deluxe set just to get that, AB and the Baby demos. Thats really all i want.

Well i'll take your word for it on the instrumentation becuase i hadn't heard any earlier mixes. The vocals though......Bono sounds nothing like he did in 92.... :huh:

TTTYAATW because it sounds like brand new Bono vocals. I would bet money on it. In fact the entire instumentation sounds new-ish.

That was my first thought. Also is there anything on the amazon site that says you will without a doubt get an item the day of release? I would think thats a bit much to ask for. If anything i'd assume it ships on release day, assuming they get the product on time, which they dont always do...

Trying to Throw....is the only song that sounds to me like it MIGHT be new vocals. The others mentioned are definitly old vocals, however i'm sure they took all the old demo tapes and cleaned them up and made very nice sounding demos because these all sound like finished product to me.
