I'm far northwest valley, airport might as well be half a world away from me. I'm more than willing to meet up somewhere along the way though (assuming you have a rental car) just so we can halve the parking fee.
Anyone in Glendale/Peoria considering carpooling? I'm planning on being at the stadium as early as possible, but I'm not looking forward to paying the $20 parking fee all by myself. I'm more than willing to pick people up from hotels and such, if walking to and from the stadium doesn't sound...
I'm not sure who d.darroch's friends are going to see, but my family has a dentist/surgeon in Mexico that they absolutely swear by (at least half a dozen family and friends have been going to see her for a decade or more). If you know what you are doing and who you are seeing, it's just as safe...
Ugh. I'm having insomnia issues myself, so I can sympathize. (What's worse is that I work swing shifts and night shifts and 6am is supposed to be my bedtime. I don't know how I will survive the day of the show.)
I know it's largely a venue thing, but it also seems to depend on how grouchy and/or uninformed the particular security guard checking your bags happens to be that night. I had one lady declare my camera to be a professional camera (it's NOT) that would require a press pass simply because it...
I hope they stick to this. I have a Canon S5 IS which, while it's a little bit nicer than some of its point-and-shoot relatives, most certainly is NOT a professional camera. Yet I have already had it turned away from one concert this summer. I am more than a bit worried about lining up nice...
That's "lucky bitch" to you. :sexywink:
Actually, "lucky bitch" would be my friend who is less than three miles away from the stadium. I keep teasing her about being able to hear the concert from her back yard.
I'm about 27 pages late to the party, but here I am! It looks like I'll most likely be attending by myself (and thus I have a ton of extra GA tickets if anyone is in need), so I'm hoping to meet up with a few other fans. I live in the area (about twenty minutes away), so I'm more than willing...
Bah. GA tickets still available nearly twelve hours later. Now I regret using my presale codes on the Phoenix dates. I wanted to make sure I had tickets for the show nearest me, but now I wish I had used the codes for Vegas instead (which I was unable to get GAs for despite the UNLV site...
I think I posted this one before, but the world can always use more unbuttoned Bono.
And Larry. There's hardly any Larry to be found in the PGP threads.
Meh. I'm depressing myself sitting here alone thinking about storms and sick people and broken computers. I need happy thoughts. I guess I can go on a one-girl picture-posting spree.
