I LOVE that movie. But I love devastation movies. LEE - Life Extinction Event movies. Yep, I'm a dork!!

Wasn't it ELE (extinction level event)? Because Tia Leone's character thought the president was having an affair with someone named "Ellie"

Just got back form the running shop - $40/PT session x 2/wk... $179 for new shoes, inserts and socks... :crack:

I guess it's better than dying of a heart attack at 45 because I'm overweight and out of shape, right?

ELE....I knew LEE didn't look right.

I NEED new sneakers something bad. Mine after from last year when I ran the marathon. Not good.

Yeah, I forget how many miles you're supposed to put on a pair of shoes but you've probably exceeded it. I'm giving SuperFeet another go - didn't like them last time I tried but didn't really give myself time to break them in so...
I'll do whatever it takes to speed up the healing process (except that I've forgotten to do my butt/hip/leg exercises this whole week. oops).

ME TOO. The Day After Tomorrow is my favorite.

Deep Impact is awesome, even though Tea Leoni is the worst convincing news anchor ever.

hmm... I think D.I. is my fave of the disaster movies. Better than Armageddon and TDAT, in my opinion.

Oh, and GR, I also bought a foam roller. Everyone I know swears by them, esp when it comes to IT band issues. Don'tk now what to do with it yet, tho

I mean, they're all cheesy bad, right? But fun! I didn't like Armageddon at all, and 2012 was so awful it wasn't even fun.

I'm a sucker for those kinds of movies too. The cheesier, the better! Haven't seen 2012 either, but probably will someday if it ever shows up on Netflix.

They're great Saturday afternoon movies, which is exactly what D.I. was yesterday. I had 2 hours between the acting competition and the soccer game so I turned on the tv and turned off my brain :D

Out of that batch, I've only seen The Mummy, which I love!

I think you'd like National Treasure. A little "loose" history, a little action and the boy in it is kinda cute

Oh yeah, he's in the Hangover movies... I saw about 30 minutes of one of those and hated it. I did have a nice Bradley Cooper dream that night though...

Absolutely! It's a rainy Sunday here, but today I'm watching Sons of Anarchy. :D Mindless entertainment is the best on weekends where you have nothing going on.

I've had such a quiet morning. Laundry/cleaning/dishes then the running shop. one more errand (groceries) before the boys get home and we have to start getting ready for another week.

Enjoy your SOA, Thora. It's 75 and sunny here so I'm looking for an excuse to get outside. Maybe a bike ride with the boy when he gets home.

You KNOW I love TDAT. I wish that was on tonight.

Zu, look up videos on YT for uses on the foam roller. For IT, you will lay on your side and roll yourself from your hip to knee. I am not going to lie - it does not feel super awesome as you are doing it.

My left calf hurts from my workout yesterday. Since I have a training session tomorrow, I am laying low. I'm kind of bummed since I would like to work off what I did last night.

Yeah, everyone says the foam roller doesn't feel great but works wonders. And the PT says he's gonna do some deep-tissue massage and that that doesn't feel like puppies and unicorns either.

As awesome an actor he is, that's the main reason to watch any Bradley Cooper movie. :shifty:

*slowly backs out of EYKIW*
