I LOVE Calvin & Hobbes! :D

I just checked in for tomorrow's flight! Window seat with nobody around me! :hyper:

WOOT!

I was just looking at the eating options for my layover. They've got good breakfast options, then for lunch I'll probably get a Wok Box to go. YUM! All sorts of delicious sounding Asian cuisine.

Drinks are an issue before you go through security. But like you said earlier, you're bringing an empty bottle to fill up later, so that will be okay. You can also buy drinks once you're past security that you can take on the plane. As far as I'm aware, it's totally fine to bring your own food/airport food onto the plane. I've never had an issue doing that before. I used to bring my whole entire meals with me when I was in my teens & early 20's, since I had too many dietary issues to eat whatever crap the airline served.

Oh that's really neat! I didn't know that!

:shifty: *packs some candy*

Perhaps I can bring something from the airport then for underway.

GG, I've just been looking at the Air Canada options. Here's a link where you can see the menu. aircanada.com - Onboard Cafe In North America

MEH. :| Too limited/boring of a selection for me. I'm definitely going to buy something in the airport instead.

OnBoard Café is available in Economy Class on most flights of 90 minutes or more when you travel:
•within Canada,
•between Canada and the U.S.,
•to and from Sun destinations

 What? SO there's no cafe on intercontinental flights? How am I supposed to live without food?

So do I get a free meal on this flight?

joke time cause am bored, no offence to any1, just from friend who hates U2 but went totally MENTAL in Glasto

What's the difference between God and Bono?

God doesn't wander around Dublin thinking he's Bono.

Flying from the middle of nowhere = not very crowded flight. ;)

If you're flying Southwest where there aren't seat assignments, just make sure you get on early and then cough a lot so people think you're sick and dont want to sit by you. :reject:

Ah figures. I've no clue how busy my flight will be. coughing I can do!

 yeah, cause God flies around in heaven thinking he's Bono.

My best friends today:

My friend just hosted a convention in Vegas and had all these mini bottles left over, so she sent me one of every flavor.

 That looks really good. REALLY good.

Oh shit we're gonna need a new thread soon! Shall I use my idea that i had in the last thread? Since it's gonna be quiet here soon.

It's certainly helping the Day Before Trip freak-out! Not getting drunk, just kinda chilling out a little. ;)

My entire thought process right now is kinda limited to "AHHHHHH!" and "HOLY SHIT!", neither of which make very good thread titles.

:panic: Freak-out? What freak-out? I'm not having any freak out of any sort!

 I SO know how you feel. That's pretty much it. Tho for me it's OMG and Holy crap. I think mine was something like

BBL, gone to Montreal to party

or so.

Where can I check this? At their website or something?

I would think they'd have that sort of detail on the site, but I never think about it until I'm on the plane and they make that announcement when they're talking about the menu options.

How long flight ya got to Ireland Cori,

It's about 7 hours from Seattle to the east coast, then my layover in New Jersey, and then another 7 hours from Jersey to Dublin.

*wishes I had a you tube clip of a certain Lucille scene in Arrested Development  *

No clip, but I always have this on hand:

Pringles work better for me than gum for landing, I have no idea why.

I think it's just the motion of your jaw, so yawning, eating, chewing, even swallowing can help, depending on the person.

So do I get a free meal on this flight?

That's my understanding, that overseas flights actually feed you for free.

 Was it fully erected?
:shifty: If not, I know some people who could help...

I 100% promise to punch her in the face if I ever run into her at the grocery store or something.
Knee her for me, would ya?

I love Bono, but that was kinda funny.... only kinda. :reject:

 yeah, cause God flies around in heaven thinking he's Bono.

That's the entire thread, but it went through many pages of suggestions and chatter before I finally posted my mostly final itinerary, which starts with this post:

And I swear, that Bono/God joke is older than dirt. I swear I've been hearing a variation on it since 1989.
